Description:
"Equanimity." It is about the union of opposites. In her hand she holds the Golden Thread of our Soul— it's trailing down the river for anyone who chooses to pick it up and follow. While painting this I kept having the feeling that I was being born, and continually dying. This image is a visitation from some very young-old dream part of myself. I use to dream her back in my 20’s, and her name was, Alma. I’m so grateful to see her again! Every painting is a stepping stone leading to the next one. I'm delighted to be following the mysterious thread to see where it takes me.
