This painting, “The Star Catcher.” came about because I needed to manifest some delight. An image of a woman, dancing through the night, catching stars with the ease of a young Willie Mays. After her hands are full, she tosses those stars down to the earth, in a kind of blessing. Is it fantasy, or real?
